DPF CLEANING FAQ
Do you remove the DPF from my vehicle?
No — we don’t remove DPFs in-house. We recommend that your mechanic removes and refits it for you. If your mechanic can’t do this, we can put you in touch with a trusted partner who can. Please note: their charges are separate, as our prices cover cleaning only.
What guarantee do you offer?
We provide a 12-month no-quibble warranty. If your DPF becomes blocked again within that time and all other options have been explored, we’ll clean it again for free.
Can you collect my DPF?
Yes. We offer a regular collection and delivery service:
- Wednesdays: Cumbria and surrounding areas (as far as Dumfries)
- Thursdays: Blackpool, Preston, and surrounding areas
If you need your DPF returned sooner, we can arrange a courier for an additional cost.
For customers elsewhere in the UK, we can also organise courier collection and return — please contact us for a quote.
Important: While we work hard to ensure safe and timely delivery, we cannot take responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit.
How long will it take?
We aim to clean your DPF and return it the same day. We know how important your vehicle is for daily life and work, so we keep turnaround times fast.
- Cars: around 1 hour, including drying
- Larger vehicles: longer, due to extended drying cycles
How much does it cost?
Prices vary by vehicle, but as a guide:
- Cars: £200 + VAT
- Larger vehicles: higher due to size and longer cleaning cycles
All DPFs are cleaned using our professional machine — no harsh chemicals are used, making the process safe and environmentally friendly.
Can I wait while you clean my DPF
Yes, you’re welcome to wait while the work is carried out. Alternatively, you can take the opportunity to explore nearby Morecambe or Lancaster, both offering plenty to see and do while we complete your DPF clean.
